Hello! We are proud to introduce One Giant Leap Childcare! Our goal has always been to support the families around us by offering the highest quality of childcare you can find. Since opening our doors in 2017, within the cozy little city of New Albany, Indiana, we have been a place where love is plentiful and lifelong learning happens organically daily. Our area of expertise includes infants and preschool-age children. Our environment is designed to be secure, nurturing, and supportive of children of all ages. Our classrooms are open and well-lit by natural light. They are roomy and come with age-appropriate teaching materials, various toys, and cozy furniture, allowing the students to feel comfortable and at home while playing and learning. We offer an age-sensitive curriculum meant to foster and harness the abilities and strengths specific to each stage of childhood up to preschool. Our curriculum is designed to provide every child with the necessary tools to make it big in academics, physical education, social behavior, creativity, and personal fulfillment. "Learning and playing" is a concept that is ideal for children, and that is why the curriculum has been designed in such a way as to let the children have these basic learning skills embodied in subjects such as music or physical movement by using visual arts, logic, mathematical development, language and reading development, science, health and safety, dramatic play and physical activity. Our children's future is our top priority at One Giant Leap Childcare, and we encourage a passion for learning early on that will last a lifetime. We heavily consider parents' reliance on us and their stress on their child's educational development. We regularly have meetings for parents and teachers. Our programs promote a healthy working relationship with the parents because the children can feel their parents are interested in their activities.
